Learn MoreErik was amazing. Rockjumper was amazing. We will definitely be looking for a trip with you in the future. No complaints. One of the best trips!
This tour was one of the most enjoyable I've experienced. Paul Varney is an outstanding leader who is not only an exceptional birder but also great company. Our small group of six clients developed a spirit of camaraderie as we searched for birds, enjoyed the stunning Icelandic landscapes, and endured (with good cheer) the rainy weather. Paul not only located many target birds, including a Gyrfalcon, he made sure we had a variety of experiences that deepened our appreciation for this remarkable country. I was impressed with how attentive and helpful he was throughout the trip. He went above and beyond at several points during the tour. I highly recommend Paul Varney and this Iceland tour.
Couldn't be better me.
Our small group was quite varied in trip expectations and needs. Ryan awesomely addressed each. Thank you. The drivers and locals that helped were very qualified and helpful. We loved Lester and what his family has accomplished to keep Caroni swamp a sanctuary. The dinner 🍲 while watching scarlet ibis was amazing. We like experiencing local food and restaurants. Josh and his family with many hummingbird feeders providing with such a special lunch was a cherished experience. Thank you Rockjumper and Trinidad gang for making our trip special!!$)
Our group leaders/guides worked hard all the time to ensure that the tour went smoothly and timely because instructions were clearly conveyed. There were incredible sightings and rare finds. The accomodation and meals were good but I have to commend our stay onboard the Dorinha, an excellent experience. I felt well looked after and enjoyed my first tour with Rockjumper immensely, thanks especially to Bradley Davis, Dusàn and driver Marinaldo.
The tour was wonderful, even though I had some physical/health issues on the trip. The guides were great, with a special shout out to Rohman and Albert, plus the great food by Annie. Glen was excellent, very patient and persistent in getting us on the birds. The trip met my expectations for the birds, but that last glorious morning at Lore Lindu was special, with great looks at Geomalia and even a quick view of Malia.
